Fashion Dupes!

So I've been wanting to do this for a while but never got around to it. Here it is, the cheaper version of celeb's fashion. Hope you enjoy.

Real: Nicki Minaj at Lil Wayne's Coming Home Party. L.A.M.B Pier Boots $395.00

Dupe: Forever21 Woollen Collar Heeled Boots $35.80 Click here to go to the site.
I hope to do more of these soon. If you have a celeb you would like me to find a dupe for, just send a picture to the blog's e-mail imjustnatalie@yahoo.com and I would happy to do it. I have a few pictures I want to post, but I lost my camera. *Sighs* I hope I can post something soon.

It's getting cold!

Ahh! The temperture is crazy right now. It goes from 75 to 43 degrees within hours. Can you say bananas?

Aren't the Holiday Starbuck's cup adorable? Everyone says I'm a Starbucks addict! Maybe.

Knee High Boots! I'm in the process of getting more boots, but I haven't found any that I've fell in love which. :/

The only reason my lips aren't chapped, in the weather.

Got this great jacket. This picture does it no justice. It only has 3 buttons. Only wore it twice but got amazing compliments both times. Got ot from Marshalls for $9.99. What a steal. It reminds me of a cape.

It's two bird together, a heart, and the eiffel tower. Beautiful right? Got it from Forever 21 for like $4.80. I love it!

This is it, again. I have a 'professional' camera, but I haven't been using it to it's full ability. But I've recently started, well I try to. I love this, I think I did a great job on this picture.

Forever 21. On Sale. $7.99. :)

My recent reads! Instyle November2010. :)

What's the temp. like in your town? How are you keeping warm this fall/winter?

Update!

Hola, I'm back! First off, I just want to say I did not get killed by raging dogs, or go to jail for selling illegal drugs, or get abducted by aliens. A few weeks ago I decided I'm going to quit blogging. At this point I've gotten negative comments, lost sleep, and I'm struggling to find the time. I already had my 'Farewell Letter' typed and all I had left was to push the 'publish post' button. But I totally changed my mind. I'M STAYING! :) And the crowd goes wild.

I've started alot of new things since I've been on 'break':
-Yearbook (at my school)
-JV Tennis
-Started Driving
-Join the Habitat for Humanity Club
-Preparing to write essays for scholarships
And lots of other things!

I'm so in love with Glee. It's amazing. It's coming on tonight, but I have to record it on DVR because I'm going to a volley ball game tonight, to play for first place with our rival school. I can't wait.

I cut my hair off. :/ It was a living in the moment thing. I've always had longer hair, and I wanted to cut it so bad. So one Friday, I went into the bathroom and cut it off. It's already growing back fast. All of my friends love it. I like it, it saves time and money, but I can't wait til it grows back. Forgot how long it was? Click here or here.

I went to my homecoming, and this was my garter I made. No bells, no whistles, no ribbons because I'm not that kind of girl. :) Just to clear up things I went to the homecoming game, not the homecoming dance. High School Dances really don't amuse me.

We won 23 to 13. It was an amazing game. The score was 0-0 til after half time. Then, all of the lights at our stadium went off. So over 500 people in the dark for about 15 minutes. And in the middle of the dark our band (which is amazing) started to play a song that happens to be my favorite song (that they play). So me and my friends went on the sideline to dance, til the lights came on. Great night!

My bag on 10/20/10. We wore purple to stop gay bullying. I have uniform at my school, but I made sure I add purple into my outfit, so I just added that purple scarf to my bag. I also had on a purple undershirt, bra, and shoelaces. :)

Don't you love when you find your own money in the washer/dryer? I do.

I have a slight addiction....to apple juice. :)

My first NYX Palette. It's beautiful. Forgot to take pictures of the inside.

I tie dyed for my first time this weekend. And I couldn't stop. It's so fun. I made shirts for myself, family, and friends. I'm out of plain white shirts. So I started thinking about doing my underwear. But I have enough self control....barely.

This month is Breast Cancer month, so I got these buttons. They say "Cure" and "I fight like a girl". I have more but these are the ones I wear daily.

My 'i heart boobies' bracelet. I've had it for a while. I actualy heard the money doesn't go to Breast Cancer Research or anything, which is slightly disappointing. :(

Lol. This is a random picture of my desk at school.

:) My friend did this to her fingers.

That's all for now. Thank you all for sticking with me. I plan to do lots more posts.

To check out her site push....here. To check out her giveaway push....here.

25 prizes for 1 lucky follower of hers!
The giveaway is international!
And ends on October 1st at 3:00pm!
So hurry and enter, before time runs out.

-Work with what you got!

I've been thinking about starting a makeup section on this blog. But the thing is I'm not a pro when it comes to the makeup, actually I pretty new to correctly applying makeup. So please give me your honest opinions on how you think the makup looks. Remember I have to walk out the house with the stuff on my face. :)

This is all of the makeup products that I have, after all I'm still a newby. One brush (crazy huh?) and some drugstore pallettes.

So, here's a few that I've done. I've only really done eye makeup. I have a lot more interest in it than any other kind of makeup at this point.
Huge Disclaimer: Makeup may look terrible, hair does looks terrible, and skin looks even worst. Beware! Click on picture to make larger, but I wouldn't reccomend it!

A Different Day.

So, how does the eye makeup look?

5 Simple Ways to Conserve Your Makeup!

Sorry I've been gone for so long! Almost 2 weeks! Yes, because of school. I will start doing 1-2 post a week. This isn't a regular post that I would normally do, but I stumbled across this and thought it would be nice to share with you beauties.

( Got the picture from here!)
For those of us who use it, makeup can add up to be a substantial part of our budgets. Here are five tips to conserve your cosmetics and save a few bucks.

A Frugal Foundation Trick
Natalie DeStefano, makeup artist at the Rita Hazan Salon in NYC, recommends wetting your makeup sponge slightly before you dip it into your foundation. The dampness will cause the sponge to absorb less product, thus leaving more in the bottle.

Squeeze More Swipes
Get a few more uses out of an almost-gone mascara by standing it in a glass of warm water or heating it up with a hair dryer.

Save Your Mascara Wand
Wash it thoroughly and use it to tame unruly eyebrow hairs or to separate and de-clump lashes. Oftentimes, great mascara application comes from the brush. If you aren't too keen on a newly purchased formula, use the wand from your tried-and-true to see if it makes a difference.

Use a Lip Brush
Slathering on your lipstick may cause you to overapply, which you'll only blot off onto a napkin. Use a lip brush and you'll save product, plus get a more even, precise color. Check out this one from e.l.f. (only $1 at eyeslipsface.com).

Line and Shadow—at the Same Time
In a pinch, you can use any eye shadow as an eyeliner. Pick up an eyeliner brush with short, stiff, angled bristles like one from e.l.f. (only $3 at eyeslipsface.com). Your best bet is to mist the tip of the brush rather than soaking it, which can ruin both the brush and the makeup. For a smudgy, nighttime look, try applying with a damp Q-tip. Try Essence Colour & Shine Eyeshadow, $2.99; ulta.com

Back To School!

This is just a back to school post because I go back to school on Monday. And I'm super excited.

This is a little checklist I made to get everything done, in time, what can I say I'm a sucker for a good list. It has everything on there from things as simple as take a shower to forgettable things like get more batteries for my camera. Now, let's hope I don't lose the list!

Lol! This is what my mom brought (and this isn't all of it) tons of paper, pens, pencils etc., we'll go back to the store after I get my supply list from my teachers but this is the basics. As we were getting this I was thinking I don't do that much work. Lol. But I want to do better than 'just passing' unlike last year.

(Before; this was my Grace Mahiry hair style)

(After, it's like a reddish/blonde color; and you guys will see this picture again for my makup post)
Breaking News: I dyed my hair! :) So I can go back to school with a slightly new look. Everyone that's already seen loves it!

We have a dress code and we can wear any color collared shirt. Ralph Lauren Polo is a big and in style where I live but everybody hates U.S.P.A, it's all about brands. I got a great deal on RL Polo shirts. $25.99 each, so about $100.00 for all 4 of these. Usually they are about $50.00 a piece so.... And I already have some. So I'm just adding these to my collection, I guess.

We can also wear blue, khaki, brown, black, green, or gray pants. But no jean/denim material. Last year, I showed up every day out of dress code. Lol. I always wore jeans, I had alot of clothing that was in dress code but, I chose not to wear them. And I never got in trouble! These black pants (kinda like skinny jeans but they're black) are jeggings but you can't really tell. Got them from JCPenney's when they had their deal, buy 1 get 1 for a $1.00. So the total was like $36.99....not bad at all.

We have a Converse store, where I live and I decided instead of Jordan's/Nike shoes I'll just wear Converse. The are super cute and comfy. So I got the pair above and below from the back section (everything $19.99) honestly I only went back there because their were a crazy amount of people everywhere. And I have a quick temper when there's too many people when I'm trying to shop. And I guess that temper finally paid off, I got a great price! So the shoes would have been about $40.00, but I told my mom I wanted Converse, so she went online earlier that day and got a 30% off coupon. So including tax both pairs of shoes were about 30 something dollars. :) These shoes above are Xtra high tops (not high tops) and you can fold them down or leave them up. How awesome!

These are so cool, they are fully covered in sequins. In case you are wondering, no that's not my flash in the center of the shoes they are really grayish/silvery. And these are regular high tops.

So I'm totally a big kid! This is my backpack I got. It's Princess Tiana (and the other Disney princesses but I really got it for Tiana), and I love the movie so I had to get this, because I am a princess at heart! I get a new backpack every year, but I always end up switching constantly to match my clothes. So probably in about 2 weeks I'll go back to my hobo handbag.

This is a brand called 'Hard Candy' and it's sold at Walmart. I've been wanting this for a while, but it's been completely sold out. So I went and they finally had some. So I got this one. The name of it is 'bad reputation'. It also came with a little sample of liquid eyeliner called 'walk the line'. Sorry I didn't do swatches, but my next post will be a makeup post so you'll actually see it on my eyes. I threw away the receipt, but I believe it was $6.00.

I was really in need of chap stick or something that works like it. And while standing in the checkout line at Target I saw this and got it. It has a save $1.00 coupon, hence the big white rectangle on the package. So I used it, w/o the coupon it was $2.99 and with the coupon it was $1.99. It's a 2 pack, one flavor is pearl and the other is vanilla. They smell great! The vanilla smells just like vanilla, and the pearl smells like berries. And they have sunscreen in them which is great for the summer. The pearl has SPF 15. And the vanilla has SPF 20. I would totally recommend this.

This is the 'ELF Beauty Book' and I only used it once but it's pretty good. But I don't like the fact that it only has a plastic covering on instead of a real palette case! And it smears a little, but I can get over that.

This is an ELF Zip Zapper! I went on their site and it had all good reviews except one. That's not bad at all! I haven't tried it yet, because I don't want to risk it not working, or heavens forbid but maybe my skin gets worse. So for right now I'm using something that I know works, at least til school starts.

One of my things to do on the list from the first picture, was to get my makeup bag/emergency kit together. And I did this earlier today. This little makeup bag has 3 zippered sections and fold together using a peice of velcro! I got this from my mother and I believe she said she ordered it from Avon! This bag contains pretty much what I need for those 'just-in-case' moments. Because I love to be prepared. It has:
-hair ties (I always have multiples in case one breaks, or a friend need them)
-eye makeup remover pads
-eye liner (liquid and regular)
-comb
-3 small makeup palettes
-bobby pins
-Q-tips
-band-aids
-pads and tampons
-Advil (for headaches and period cramps)
-mascara
-chap stick
-conceler
-makeup brush
Unfortuntly that's all I can remember. Did I miss anything for my little makeup kit? Should I add anything else in it.

When do you start school? Are you excited?
